The Baltic Territorial Organization of the Seafarers' Union of Russia successfully implements social support programs for seafarers – the Union members, which include providing legal advice on a variety of issues.

The Navigation officer Nikita Ananyev took advantage of this program when he faced issues regarding his work at sea. He notes that the lawyers of SUR BTO provided all the necessary clarifications and recommendations and assisted to get onto a number of issues, so he could choose a reliable shipping company.

- I'm used to trusting dealing with any issues to experts in their field. I judge it from my own experience, – the seafarer explained. Nikita Ananyev said about himself that he graduated from the Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University in 2015 and since then he has not been without work. - I’m very glad that I chose the seafaring profession, - he admits. – The sea always helps me out, because it gives me the opportunity to earn money and provide for my family. That's the most important thing!
