BTO SUR and OWH have signed a collective agreement

The Baltic Territorial Organization of the Seafarers' Union of Russia  (BTO SUR) and the Ost-West-Handel Shipmanagement company will continue  cooperation in sustaining a social dialogue.

As before, this will provide opportunities to create stable working conditions for seafarers and avoid labor disputes. In case such issues arise, they will be addressed in a calm and constructive atmosphere.

Negotiations took place at the Afalina crewing agency's office. Social partners agreed to increase wages and insurance payments by 3%.

It should be noted that the Afalina shipping management company is a division of Ost-West-Handel Shipmanagement.
